How many bands are there in Chicago? In the US? The world?
We don't know either.
How many pop bands keep a positive healthy focus on their relationships with each other and their audience?
How many have renounced, as a matter of principle and band ethos, the abuses and lifestyles we
wouldn't wish on ourselves, much less our audience?
Well, we know one.
We're glad you're listening!
Hello to our friends in the addictions field, and particularly those folks that Ellen met at the recent IAODAPCA Conference in Itasca! Ellen and Jen have been in the addictions counseling field for years and are very excited about sharing our band music with other people in the addictions field and people in the recovery and healing community. Here's some of what we are working on...
"Craving" is a song that speaks specifically to the difficult inner struggle that people go through when they are trying to stay away from drugs and alcohol despite sometimes an overwhelming desire to give in and use. We recorded it a while back as an acoustic demo.
Give Craving a listen!

Also, we are busily writing and arranging songs for a musical recovery project, a creation of an audio library of recovery/healing music and resources. We would like it to cover several genres in order to be accessible to many audiences. We are still defining the scope of the project as well as still looking for adequate funding.
Drop us a line if you have ideas or resources to support this project.
If you like craving, you may be interested in some of our other songs as well:
You will find that themes of growth and introspection wind their way through the band's music, some of it speaking more specifically to personal healing and addiction recovery related issues, particularly in Ellen's songs. We think these are powerful and essential messages that we all need. Listen, listen, listen!!!
